A thank you to those who serve our country…

Photographs…It really does seem like such a small gift for me to give to a parent, and his or her family, who have given up months and or years to serve in our Armed Forces.  This family is sure enjoying having Dad home after a year long deployment.  I thoroughly enjoyed meeting and  photographing this gorgeous family!  Their happiness and love comes through in the photos… and the best part… they didn’t think is was all that bad having their photos taken!

My way to say thank you!

Until next time…

Cheers!

Beautiful Baby Girl

These two beautiful moms brought in their one week old baby girl for me to photograph and I was starstruck… she is gorgeous!  Need I say more?  Okay… just one more thing… she was an ANGEL for the entire session!

Until next time…

Cheers!

At Home…

It is always a pleasure to go to someone’s home and photograph the family there…. even the rare rainy, overcast skies could not spoil our fun… in fact, the puddles were lots of fun!

Spring is in the Air ???

Yes… it is mid-FEBRUARY… but it sure feels like Spring here in California;-)  I noticed my daffodils coming up the other day  …. and I thought…wow … it’s time to grab my camera and just play…. I don’t seem to do this very often anymore and I should!

So yesterday…. yep, there were the tulips!  I have never had them bloom this early but seeing that everyone is skiing on man-made snow in the Sierras this year… I should not be surprised!

And yes… the hydrangeas are sprouting their new leaves… can’t wait for those gorgeous blossoms!

BUT… the true sign of  “Spring is in the air” is all of us wanting to play hookey and seeing baseball and softball gear all around.  Having a small yard means whiffle balls for hitting instead of hardballs, but we don’t mind!

So, while I am still looking forward to hitting the slopes for some skiing…. this weather can’t be beat!  Maybe it’s time to take the convertible bug out…hmmm…. I think I may be on to something!

Until next time…

Cheers!
